Monique Lhuillier to Launch a Capsule Shoe Spring 2013 Collection -Munaluchi Bride

Monique Lhuillier, a leading brand name in bridal fashion and stylish red carpet looks, recently shared a sneak preview of her upcoming capsule shoe collection for Spring 2013! Much like her womenswear collection, the shoe line will showcase her signature feminine and daring silhouettes. “I am so thrilled to be adding shoes to my collection. I have wanted to do this for quite some time, and I am excited to be able to dress all of my favorite celebrities from head to toe.” (InStyle)

“I’ve always wanted to dress women from head to toe,” said Monique Lhuillier to WWD, “I wanted them [the shoes] to be sexy, feminine and glamorous. What I learned about the shoe business and the shoe process is that it takes a lot longer than making a soft garment.” (WWD)

A lucrative collaboration with Manolo Blahnik was Monique’s first foray with shoes before she took the plunge solo. That collaboration was definitely a teaser for her own capsule shoe line! Set to debut for her Spring 2013 collection, the price range of the forthcoming Monique Lhuillier Capsule Shoe Collection retails between $595 to $1,195 and will be first sold at her New York flagship store in September.
