Creative, stylish, romantic, and refreshing – if you’re looking for ideas to bring your city elopement dreams to fruition then look no further. This multicultural styled shoot is a celebration of cultures collaborating in an artsy, city-chic ceremony that feels like a gallery installation come to life. Read all about the design details and inspiration below.
This styled shoot was a fresh and vibrant take on an elopement from an upper west side apartment rooftop. Multicultural like the city itself, this young couple embraces their vibrancy and diversity by showcasing their heritage. Using part of a vintage wedding gown as a crop top, mixed with a handcrafted, chiffon wrap skirt, while the groom displayed traditional Indian attire. This couple embraces the grit of the city and combines it with a refined, bohemian love. Lush florals intertwine with spray paint murals as a backdrop for the bride and groom. Local, fresh, foraged cherry and dogwood blooming branches, work in harmony with dried tropical Cecropia leaves in the floral creations. Henna tattoos and rare, handcrafted crowns and accessories adorn their bodies as this couple clasp one another and begin their new journey.
