Muna Serenade 2021- Philadelphia: Art Deco Romance

In our journey to inspire love, MunaLuchi has created Muna Serenade: A Curated Couples’ Date. It is an opportunity for engaged couples to express their deepest affection for each other in an unforgettable date night experience. Produced by members of the Coterie – MunaLuchi’s curated collective of elite wedding vendors, selected couples are provided with a photoshoot, video shoot, fine dining, and more.

The Philly Muna Serenade, held on 4/11/2021 at The Canopy by Hilton Philadelphia, was produced by an amazing vendor team led by planner, designer, and florist Candice Moore of The Styled Stem. The lucky couple, Tiffany and Tyler, received a makeover, posed for a stylish photo shoot, and were wined and dinned at a beautifully styled table for two. The venue had an art deco vibe that I fell in love with while doing a site tour with a client looking for the perfect space for an intimate wedding after having to postpone their larger celebration for the 2nd time. Every nook and cranny was packed full of art and inspiration but in a tasteful, trendy manner that wowed me at every turn. I knew this would be a beautiful space to shoot in and furthermore create this Serenade experience for a lucky couple. The Canopy is a recently opened Center City hotel (August 2020) that checked all the boxes for me for a unique, beautiful, and memorable space. It was a huge success!

Design concept minimalist/romantic. The design included lots of greens for the sweetheart table and backdrop, soft candlelight and subtle pops of color with magenta and pink. (I was also truly amazed when Tiffany showed up with a dress in exactly the same magenta color of our Yves Piaget roses and Anemone. It was perfect & unplanned!) The Styled Stem handled all planning & logistics as well as the design and decor.

Tiffany & Tyler were the lucky couple selected for the Philly Serenade because of their love story. They were the only couple we interviewed that could articulate why they wanted this experience; every other couple really wanted the chance to be “featured”. Tiffany & Tyler were selected for the serenade because of their beautiful love story, essentially a missed encounter recaptured. They went to the same school and had some of the same friends but didn’t get connected until after they graduated.

Tiffany & Tyler are currently in a long-distance relationship planning their Fall wedding so the times when Tyler is in PA with Tiffany, they are spent rushing around for wedding plans and never getting the chance to just go on a date, to slow down and enjoy each others company. I’m a hopeless romantic, a huge part of the reason I started The Styled Stem, and that answer tugged at my heartstrings!
