Initially a publication described as being for the “Bride of Color,” we realized that description wasn’t inclusive enough. Over time we’ve evolved into the number one publication for representing the entire multicultural community. The foldout cover story is a tribute to iconic Ethiopian-American fashion designer Amsale Aberra, featuring the designs of MunaLuchi Coterie members, Yemi Osunkoya, Andrea Pitter, Nneka Alexander, and Jean-Ralph Thurin, who share the impact that Amsale had on their own careers, and how her designs contributed to re-shaping the bridal fashion industry.
