The next time you’re at a wedding, take a look at the band. A love connection in the making could begin before your very eyes. Singers, Brittany and Chadwick met on the job and have been singing sweet tunes ever since. This past June, they got to sing their own love song in front of all of their family and friends. A love song that is only just beginning.

Tell us about how you met and all about the proposal!
We met as singers subbing for a band back in 2009. Our first date was April 19, 2012 and he proposed on February 10, 2014.
Wedding Style
My dress was a mermaid dress with lace embroidered straps and a heart shape plunge neckline. It had embroided lace flowers and rhinestones on the dress. It flared out at the bottom.
Culture
I’m biracial (black and white) and my husband is African American and our wedding guests were a beautiful blend of different races. It was a beautiful thing to see.
Memories
Our grand entrance into the reception, first dance, and doing a celebration Hora (even though we are not Jewish) right after the first dance are standout moments. We perform at Jewish weddings all the time with our band and we figured it would be so much fun to do and have everyone get a kick out it.️ It was one of the highlights of the night, us surrounded by so much love and happiness and energy!

Genesis 2:22, 23
22. And Jehovah God built the rib that he had taken from the man into a woman, and he brought her to the man. 23. Then the man said: “This is at last bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one will be called Woman, because from man she was taken.”
