You’ve finally picked your wedding date. Now the exciting part of telling everyone you know when and where the wedding will be is the next step. There was a time when a simple phone call would do. Then came the save-the-date magnets, the photo cards, the custom stationery, the email with a link to your wedding website…
This save-the-date feature on the blog today has to be the most unique save-the-date idea we’ve seen thus far. The couple, Nadine + Eddy, decided to make a movie trailer to let their friends and family know about their upcoming wedding. It’s not just the fact that they did a movie trailer that makes this so unique…it’s the storyline, the comedy, the video production, the whole shebang. It’s already received over 8000 hits on YouTube. And these lovebirds really do make a cute couple. Check it out and tell us what you think.
Nadine + Eddy Save-the-date Trailer
The inspiration behind the trailer…
“It was my idea to do the save the date poster and Eddy ran with the idea and decided to do a matching trailer. The reaction has been nothing short of amazing. Our video has hit over 8,000 hits. We never expected so much love on our website and the trailer. Truly exciting!” – Nadine
Nadine and Eddy are looking forward to their 4th of July wedding at the Biltmore Ballrooms in Atlanta, GA. We asked Nadine what the most difficult aspect of wedding planning has been thus far…“The most difficult aspect would have to be planning the wedding while I’m in ATL and Eddy is in Philly. Besides that, Eddy had been nothing but awesome. This wedding has really shown us how well we work together as a team!”
What do you look forward to most on your wedding day?
“What we are looking forward to the most besides seeing each other for the first time and sharing our vows would be partying well into the night with so much of our family and friends!” – Nadine
