Sometimes, the first time’s not the charm. You meet the person who you’ll eventually love and marry, but you don’t realize it. S/he’s just anybody else – until that person becomes more than just anybody: s/he becomes that one, the one. Natasha and Christopher didn’t recognize that they were “it” for each other until much later. When they realized it, they never ever forgot again :-)
Their beautiful e-session was photographed by Kristen Suggs of Javon Longieliere Photography. More images in the gallery here.

The Meeting …. “We went to high school together, however we found ourselves not attracted to one another at that time (I was much cooler than him hee hee). And then 10 years later it happened, we were at a Wednesday night church service, he saw me from across the room and he says he couldn’t resist at least a little hello. From that day forward we were inseparable; it was as if God planned this or something? Hmm!”
The Proposal …. “I had just finished a long shift at work at the hospital and he came to pick me up as usual. I noticed he seemed quiet as if he had alot on his mind but I just assumed he had had a long day. We went to dinner, he finally opened up but seem to stumble over his words. This concerned me, but I continued on engaging in conversation. Shortly after dinner, it was a beautiful night out so we went for a walk. We came to a pause and he took me by both hands, gazed into my eyes, and confessed his love and desire to share the rest of his life with me. Of course I said YES!!!!!”
The Theme …. “This photoshoot was inspired by our love story, how two individuals who are very passionate about life and helping others found each other and inevitably shared their passion with one another.”
Incorporating Culture …. “We expressed our cultural sensitivity to music and spirituality. He is a pastor and he used his Bible as a prop to display his active role in ministry. I am an RN as well as a psalmist so I used my guitar and my stethescope in a few pictures to display my love for music and my entrance into the medical industry.”
{You Make Loving You So Easy}
He loves …. “He loves my personality, how warm and gentle I am with him, but yet honest.”
She loves …. “I LOVEEEE the way he makes me feel when I am with him, like I never want to leave his side. He is so caring and loving toward me that I forget about time or anything or anyone else for that matter. He makes me feel like I was made for him and he was made for me. Oh and did I mention he’s handsome?!”
