A new trend has emerged this Fall 2012 season during New Fashion Week – body contouring. This trend has skyrocketed ever since actress Kate Winslet stepped out in a white and black color block Stella McCartney “miracle” dress that gave the illusion of a slim hourglass figure. Black panels strategically placed at either side of a dress creates this optical illiusion that’s sure to create a slim yet curvy figure. Kate loved this trend so much that she wore it yet again. It’s a look that can work on every body type.
Why the hype? This shape-shifting dress trims off two dress sizes off the figure! On the Fall 2012 runway at New York Fashion, Victoria Beckham and 3.1 Philip Lim joined this clever trend that Stella McCartney ignited for her Fall 2011 collection. Celebrities like previous Munaluchi covergirl LaLa Anthony, actress Liv Tyler, Penelope Cruz and model Kate Moss quickly tested out this trend.
