So it’s the last day of 2014, and we couldn’t be more excited about 2015, and about closing the year out with this stunning New Year’s Eve masquerade wedding inspiration shoot put together by some of our Coterie members based in the DMV, Florida, and Delaware areas. Teamwork at its best!
The shoot incorporates the new Pantone color of the year, marsala and the most stunning tablescapes and floral arrangements. We especially love the pops of metallic gold that were incorporated throughout each element of the shoot. And that dessert display…bananas! Go ahead and scroll down for more stunning photos from Judah Avenue!
From the planner, TreBella Events :
“This vibrant New Year’s Eve styled shoot was designed to display a fun masquerade type theme reminiscent of the New Orleans French Quarters. The color scheme of Gold, Ivory, Black and Pantone’s 2015 Color of the year – Marsala set the elegant and classic tone. Masks and capes were added as accessories for the models to give another dimension of mystique to the design. We were able to create the perfect mixture of sultriness with elegance and romance. It’s a styled shoot that we hope inspires you to think out of the box.
Newton White Mansion served as the backdrop of this styled shoot. This stately historic mansion was a perfect addition to the décor. The mansion hosts several rooms with grand fireplaces and ornate designs. The tablescape played off of the high ceilings as the main centerpieces were grand in design. Each element was carefully placed to add color, dimension and texture. Sequin, velvet and feathers were all used in the design. Our ultimate goal? To create an over the top display full of colorful details.
Chef Dana created a beautiful dessert table with a stunning gold tiered cake as the main feature. It was flanked with gold trees embellished with hanging mini desserts made of the same colors used in the main tablescape. The feathered table linen added texture to the display.
Judah Avenue Photography, a wedding photographer in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia captured the ambiance, beauty and essence of the shoot.
We hope you fall in love with these beautiful images and are truly inspired.”
