Noelle & Jamal's Stunning Paris Engagement Shoot in Paris

Noelle and Jamal love to travel, so for their engagement session, they returned to one of their favorite cities- Paris.

Noelle shares, “I’m always looking for a reason to get glam. Although we didn’t have a theme, the goal was to give high fashion-forward glamours gala vibes.” And they did not disappoint. Their engagement session was absolutely stunning.

Tell us about how you met and all about the proposal!

Jamal and I met on two dating apps and matched on both. About two years later, Jamal told me we were going to a rooftop movie and sent a car to pick me up. I realized when the car pulled up to the Marina that I wasn’t meeting him for a movie. As I walked towards the dock, I saw Jamal standing on top of a private yacht that had been decorated with flowers and our initials in lights. Jamal proposed, and we then had a private chef make dinner on the yacht as it cruised around the Marina. Boating is one of our favorite outings so this proposal was a dream.

Describe your engagement session. Did you have a theme?

Jamal and I love to travel. Last year we went to London, Paris, Iceland, Toronto and a couple of states. Since I’m always looking for a reason to get glam, we decided to take engagement pictures while in London and Paris. Although we didn’t have a theme, the goal was to give high fashion forward glamours gala vibes.

What did you do on your first date?

Our first date was at a romantic restaurant in West Hollywood. We bonded over our love of high end food, music and boxing/UFC.

What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?

Go to music festivals.

How has wedding planning been so far?

Wedding planning has been a combination of enjoyable and stressful. The uncertainty caused by the Coronavirus has given us more free time to plan for the wedding but has also made it impossible to do in-person appointments for florals, food tastings and decor.

I am looking forward to feeling the joy and happiness of being surrounded by all our friends and family as we express our love and commitment for each other.
