Diamonds are said to be a girls best friend while pearls are known to be classic, elegant, and sometimes have a vintage feel to them. Today, many brides are in the into the shine and sparkle that “bling” can bring but you have those few brides that still love the classic and subtlety of pearls. I did a wedding earlier this year where the bride preferred the classic and elegance of pearls, over the sparkle of diamonds, and crystals and insisted her wedding day have a strong emphasis on pearls.
When I was a little girl, pearls were the staple that said you were all dressed up. Pearls were the most common jewel a bride would adorn on her wedding day; some even being passed down from generation to generation. Today, it’s really no different and I wanted to highlight pearls and bring them to the forefront in this classic, yet elegant, wedding inspiration board.
