Pharah and Graham’s love story began in 2005 when they first met at Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Fast forward to Philadelphia 2014 where Graham would ask Pharah to live with him forever as husband and wife…over the course of those nine years the couple developed the foundation of their love with trust, support, caring and understanding.
Looking back on their wedding day a most memorable moment is of Pharah being walked towards her soon-to-be-husband by her loving father who struggled to hold back his tears… Pharah’s advice for brides and grooms-to-be is to “plan ahead of time and do not wait until the last minute…”

Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. Graham and I met at Clarion University of Pennsylvania through a mutual friend in 2005. Graham proposed a month before my birthday at Morton’s Steakhouse in Philadelphia in 2014!
What was wedding shopping like for you? My wedding dress was a combination of modern and elegant. Wedding shopping for me was not as stressful as I thought it would be. I found the perfect dress at the 3rd establishment I visited.
Did you incorporate any culture into your wedding? Our wedding was traditional. Outside of the Caribbean station at the cocktail hour (which we did not get a chance to enjoy) there was not any additional cultural flair to the ceremony.
Bridesmaids/Groomsmen gifts: Bridesmaids – Robes/Personalized Hangers/Earrings/Makeup. Groomsmen – Accessories (Suspenders, socks, cufflinks).
Favorite item on the menu: New York Steak
First dance song: “Fortunate” by Maxwell
What is your best memory from your wedding? Pharah: “Graham’s moves when removing my garter; he has moves like Jagger!”
Graham: “Watching Pharah walking the aisle with her father who was trying his best to hold back tears…”
What is the best wedding advice you can give to engaged couples? Plan ahead of time and do not wait until the last minute. Also take care of yourself; do not stress out!
