So if you’ve been following us closely, you’re already aware that we launched a nationwide tour in November of 2013, kicking it off in the Nation’s Capitol. For our city to city tour, we are mixing and mingling with our readers and wedding professionals in cities throughout the country and some international locations later in the year. And it has been a total blast thus far. On February 4, we landed in Memphis, TN for our 4th tour stop. This time around, we were hosted by the super talented Andria Lewis of Andria Lewis Events and it was a total success. We are ever so grateful Andria:).
For starters, we have to thank the wonderful people at the Madison Hotel. They were truly a pleasure to work with and we totally adore that hotel. It’s the cutest, and the service is unmatchable. Andria Lewis went with radiant orchid and white for the color palette. It was stunning from ceiling to floor…literally. The entire ballroom was lit with the fanciest lighting arrangements from Event Production Services and the white dance floor gave the room a modern feel…also, we totally loved the decals of our logo AND hashtag (#munatourmemphis) perfectly placed on the dance floor. Who does that? Oh, and speaking of decals, we even had our logo on the windows of the ballroom…branding on point thanks to Andria and ten23designs.
There was a mix of small round tables dressed in the prettiest white textured linens we’ve seen to date from I Do Linens. And the floral arrangements from Holliday Flowers were gorgeous. While the decor was modern and chic, there were still southern touches throughout the event. For instance, the cuisine from Simply Delicious Caterings was true to the South…have you ever had a barbeque-tini? We had a Southern BBQ-tini station…and it was delicious. (That was only one of the stations…there were a few!). There were also tasty sweets from Painted Cookie, Pistache French Pastry and a too-pretty-to-eat cake from The Flour Garden. Another highlight…mini pizza’s in Munaluchi-branded pizza boxes. Love it!!
Brides-to-be and the best Memphis wedding professionals, including our insanely talented Memphis-area Coterie members, mixed and mingled and kept the dance floor active thanks to the fabulous band Garry Goin and G3. Be sure to check them out. They were amazing. Thanks also to Tasha Anders for makeup and Maggie Louise Bridal for the most beautiful wedding dresses worn by our models. Enjoy these lovely photos from our photography sponsor, Amy Hutchinson of AH Photography. And at the end you’ll find the recap video courtesy of Fanion Media Group. Feel free to share these photos and use the hashtag #munatourmemphis. Next stop, Charleston, SC.
