One consistent thing about the wedding industry is that it’s constantly changing. With each year that passes, a new trend emerges where brides and wedding professionals are testing the boundaries of creativity. In 2013, we’ve seen an increase in patterns; chevron, polka dots, and also stripes. We’ve seen these patterns on wedding dresses, tuxedos, wedding cakes, bouquets, and even bridal party attire, just to name a few. Patterns, such as polka dots and stripes, creates movement for the eye to dance to. Today, I’ve created an inspiration board of the two patterns together and have gathered some of my favorite Pinterest pins from our boards; here and here.
Whether you get inspired by the classic black, white, and gold, or choose to use polka dots and stripe in a myriad of other fun and festive colors for the spring and summer season. I hope you enjoy experimenting with patterns, because it looks like they’ll be sticking around for a while!
