Pretty in Pink Pre-wedding Photo Shoot at Mercer Botanic Garden in Humble, Texas

Hermon and Berhanu celebrated their love with a pre-wedding photo shoot at the Mercer Botanic Garden in Humble, Texas.

Wearing a pretty pink dress handmade in Bulgaria, Hermon strolled hand-in-hand with her now husband, Berhanu, amidst the gardens of Mercer Botanic Garden. To this day, walking is one of their favorite activities to do together.

The couple, who first met when Hermon traveled to America to study, knew early on they had found “the one.” Actually, from the moment they laid eyes on each other! “When you know you know,” she shares, smiling.

After 6 months of getting to know each other and 6 months of actual dating, they simply decided they wanted to get married. There was no fancy proposal. No getting down on one knee. They simply decided to spend forever together.

Ahead of their nuptials on June 11th, 2023, the couple hired Brandi Simone Photography to capture their romance.

After chatting with the bride, and bouncing ideas around I thought a garden would be best to get the look she was going for! Mercer Botanic Garden offers a gorgeous backdrop during the summer months and was perfect for their photo session prior to their intimate ceremony at the church.
