Pretty Pansy Garden Party

Happy Thursday Everyone!  It’s always so fun to stop over at Munaluchi and share a few beautiful blooms with you.  Well, today, I’m sharing my love for “pansies”…yes, pansies. They are my favorite little garden flowers…I love their cheerful faces and they come in a wide variety of colors…..I love the purple and yellow palettes.  Pansies are biennials, but they are treated as annuals and although they are small in form, they are a very hardy flower!

Have you ever considered decorating with pansies at your wedding?  You may want to!  They aren’t an expensive flower and they would make the perfect “potted favor”.  How sweet it would be to have a little potted pansy at each place setting and you could have a larger arrangement of them for the centerpiece.  I purchased a large tray of pansies at the local garden center for $20.00…now, how fabulous is that…a fun DIY floral project for you to try…trust me, you will love it and not only would this be perfect for your big day, but you can decorate the table for a Sunday Brunch or for a family dinner…just so sweet, simple and elegant.

Here, I place the individual pansies in one of my many wooden boxes.  I’m sure you have something like this around the house and you can always find them at the local flea market.  I think it makes such a beautiful statement with all the pretty little pansies peeping out!
