Inspiration: What Happens in a Garden After Dark? A Love Story Unfolds.

As the sun dips beneath the horizon, the garden comes alive with romance, mystery, and allure. The inspiration behind this enchanting shoot lies in the lush, historical beauty of Elizabeth Park, home to the oldest public rose garden in the United States. Beneath its towering arches and within its maze-like paths, the rose garden transforms into a world of its own, where every bloom whispers of timeless love.

For this captivating shoot, we chose the Princess gown—an ethereal masterpiece adorned with intricately beaded lace branches and a voluminous pleated Swiss dot tulle ball gown silhouette, perfect for a ceremony set amidst nature’s grandeur.

As day turned to evening, the mood became more playful with our Jasmine Dress—a stunning high-low design featuring tiered skirts and delicate silk organza petals, all hand-cut and hand-sewn with precision.

Styling & Glam…

Each Muse was styled to embody the romance of the evening, with voluminous Afro hairstyles adorned with ethereal organza flowers for Jasmine, and delicate sprays of baby’s breath for Princess.

The soft glam makeup, curated by Jakira Sanders, perfectly complemented the magical surroundings. Glowing skin and subtle accents brought out the beauty of every Muse, leaving them luminous beneath the twilight sky.

Tablescape Design…

The romance was further enhanced by the luxurious touch of Lulu from Events by Lulu, a Coterie member, who curated a decadent tablescape overflowing with couture details.

Bold, vibrant blooms in hues of magenta and golden yellow adorned the table, set against a rich jacquard tablecloth. Laser-cut invitations and sweetly scented candles exuded opulence, while the setting sun cast a dreamy glow, transforming the scene into pure magic.
