Brittany and Conrad’s love story began on their law school campus where they shared a morning class together.
“A few weeks into the semester, we started going downstairs to the law school cafeteria picking up breakfast together before class would start,” Brittany fondly recalls of the class that started it all. How did you meet? We officially met during law school in our 8:00 am Commercial Law class. A few weeks into the semester, we started going downstairs to the law school cafeteria picking up breakfast together before class would start. Not too long after that we started studying together and became friends. Although we saw each other on campus occasionally after the semester ended, we did not really “connect” again until the back-to-school party before the start of the 3L year. From that day on, we texted every day for two months before we went on our first date and we were inseparable ever since.
Tell us your proposal story. We were in Los Angeles, California, and decided to hike Runyon Canyon one of the mornings. While we were walking to the trail from our hotel on Hollywood Boulevard, we “randomly” met up with our neighbor who is a photographer. We all hiked Runyon Canyon together until we could see over the entire city. We posed for a picture at the request of our neighbor. At that point, Conrad got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife.
Describe your engagement session. We started in the city with a more industrial city vibe at Strauss Square in downtown Dallas and moved to a more relaxed romantic setting on the pier at White Rock Lake. The theme was night on the town.
What did you do on your first date? Happy hour at Island Sizzler in Houston, TX
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? Watch movies and football
How has wedding planning been so far? Pretty smooth; our planner is doing great!
