Stephanie and Andrew connected over a shared desire to help others.
Stephanie shares, “We met while working at the St. Francis House. He was a fresh graduate with a Psychology degree ready to make a change and I was a medical school enthusiast looking to learn about the disadvantaged community. We worked well together and became instant friends.”
Seven years later, they were planning their dream wedding. They had a traditional ceremony in a stunning church and Tampa, FL. For their reception, Stephanie changed twice, and the couple performed a choreographed dance for their guests! See all of the gorgeous details from their elegant wedding below.

How They Met
Andrew and I attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, but we met while working at the St. Francis House. He was a fresh graduate with a Psychology degree ready to make a change and I was a medical school enthusiast looking to learn about the disadvantaged community. We worked well together and became instant friends. A mutual friend suggested that we went on a date and we considered it.
Fast forward to 7 years later, we are still best friends and happily in love. Throughout the years, we have really admired each other’s love and company. We enjoy traveling together and spending time with our friends. A typical date for us is exploring a new part of town be it a museum, an amusement park, a brewery, or a nature trail. The best quality of our relationship is that we value each other’s opinions and friendship. Our love is even stronger because we also have a great network of family and friends who have supported our union from the very beginning. It is truly comforting to know we are not alone in this journey and that we have amazing people in our lives cheering for us along the way.
The Proposal
On Christmas day of 2017, Andrew got down on his knee and proposed we spend the rest of our lives together. Our proposal was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t hold back the stream of tears that poured. God has blessed us with so much love and admiration for each other. We are so excited and are looking forward to our future together.
Wedding Theme
We didn’t really have a specific theme, but rather a feeling/mood that we want to create. We want the wedding to be romantic, dreamy, and elegant. We want this wedding to be like a classic love story.
