Wedding planner and designer Victoria Adu of Jewel of Ruby Events (JoRE) worked with photographer, Ken Thomas, to bring her vision of elegance and romance to life.
Set in a Luxe Event Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, Jewel tones, specifically the rich Ruby jewel tone, was the focal point of her design. The highly desirable gem stone is known for its durability and rarity (and of course, beauty!). Working with two lovely models, Victoria brings the space alive with luscious floral arrangements, a towering cake, and delicate shimmering accessories!

Inspiration…
Victoria found inspiration for her elegant and chic styled shoot from jewel tones. In part from the name of her business, Jewel of Ruby Events (JoRE), she was particularly interested in the Ruby jewel tone. She made the elegant Ruby color the star of her shoot!
Why Ruby’s?
Beyond their beautiful red hue, Victoria explains: “A Ruby is a highly desirable gem due to its’ durability and rarity.”
In her designs, the Ruby ultimately represents much more than beauty. It’s symbolic of a couple’s unique union and enduring love for one another.
JoRE’s Mission…
Just as the Ruby is one of a kind, JoRE’s mission is to “…produce one of a kind experience[s] with each client.”
Victoria adds: “We hope that with each couple we service that their love and commitment to one another stays resilient.”
