Captured on a vintage 1930s sailboat by Taylor L. Czerwinski of TLC Wedding Photography, this styled shoot was inspired by the beauty of Charleston.
Known for its water and boating life, the beaches of this noteworthy South Carolina town were the perfect backdrop for Taylor’s vintage bridal editorial.
Shooting entirely on the water, Taylor hoped to encourage brides to think outside the box for their bridal portraits.
On a wedding day, you are too busy to get more than a handful of bridal portraits and this shoot was meant to inspire brides to take an adventure outside the wedding day and to have a bit of fun.

The vintage shoot came to life with the help of local Charleston vendors. Bringing fresh wedding gowns to the table was Michael Addison Bridal, a local modern bridal gown shop, which Taylor raved, “Have some of the prettiest dresses in town!”
Another local store, HART, provided unique jewelry for the shoot. While the eclectic pieces weren’t necessarily “bridal,” Taylor hoped the options would inspire brides to consider accessorizing with alternative options instead of just diamonds or pearls.
Ebere Ake, Sarah White, and Briahna Wenke served as the perfect model muses for the shoot. They each showcased unique looks, including a stunning pearl-bodice dress (a truly show-stopping gown!), an intricate “Till Death” veil, and the perfect ‘something blue’ earrings.
So sail away with us, unconventional brides… a dreamy sailboat-styled shoot awaits!

Do Tell A Belle
I love the idea of a sailboat for a wedding.
