Sandrine and Eric’s love story began approximately thirteen years ago at a club in the city. From across the room they noticed each other almost immediately. Gravitating towards each other they danced the night away and have been together ever since…
Some of their most memorable wedding moments include seeing the absolute joy of everyone dancing together. Sandrine’s advice for brides-to-be is to “do what you want and don’t let others influence or make decisions for you.”

Tell us how you met and all about the proposal.
Eric and I met approximately 13 years ago at a club in the city. We noticed each other right away and practically danced the entire night away. Eric proposed at a club on NYE in front of all of our friends.
What was wedding shopping like for you?
Wedding shopping was amazing. I ended up going to this small boutique bridal salon and the first dress my consultant picked was ” the one.” My dress had a vintage feel because it had lace with modern accents/accessories such as my belt.
Did you incorporate any culture into your wedding?
Culturally I would say more so the music. Music is especially important to me and Eric and I are both from West Indian backgrounds; my parents are from Haiti and his are from Trinidad and we wanted both cultures to have some music influences that we knew they would appreciate (which they totally did!).
Favorite item on the menu: Ceasar salad and Chimichurri skirt steak.
First Dance Song: “Eternity” by Lizz Wright
What is your best memory from your wedding?
The entire crowd dancing!
What is the best wedding advice you can give to engaged couples?
Do what you want and don’t let others influence or make decisions for you.
