Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. We met in college at a mutual friend’s house. Sam did an amazing job with the proposal, which was a total surprise to me. He combined all the things I love music, poetry, friends and a good turn up! He had been working with my close friends for months to prepare for this. It was my birthday celebration and I thought we were just going to dinner with friends and then a lounge after. While at dinner I thought he might propose because he stood up to make an announcement and all of my friends took out their phones. But he was just thanking everyone for coming. My best friend told me during dinner she wasn’t feeling well and asked that I go back to the hotel room with her so of course, I did. While in the room I kept saying are you ok I’m ready to go to the lounge and she continued to stall. We finally left and I walked into a room filled with roses and candles. My closest friends were there holding hands standing in a circle with Sam in the middle. I had no idea what was going on because I’m often clueless! “Hey” by King was playing in the background and I entered my circle of friends. He then read me a poem that he had written when we first started dating and updated the ending to ask me to be his wife. After I cried and said yes they then played “Bodack Yellow” and I got my first pair of red bottoms. We then went out to the lounge and had a ball.
Describe your engagement session. We wanted to keep it simplistic and vintage with the lighting.
