What did you do before starting in the Bridal Fashion industry?
I was a content writer before, so writing the product descriptions on my website is one of my favorite aspects of owning Anya Lust.
How long have you been in the Bridal Fashion business?
One amazing year, so far.
What motivates you?
Beautiful lace, intoxicating romance, and true love.
How would you describe your style?
My personal style is really feminine – I love floral prints and pretty dresses. You can definitely see a reflection of my style in the pieces that I select for my boutique.
What’s the one lingerie attire every women should have in their drawer?
A bodysuit. No matter how you’re feeling about your body, a bodysuit will make your confidence soar.
What would you say is the biggest bridal fashion mistake women make?
Not thinking about their bridal lingerie until the last minute! I completely understand that there are so many important details to plan, but waiting to select the lingerie for your wedding night or honeymoon, might mean that you won’t get the look you want. Plan at least two months before your wedding, just in case you decide to get something custom made.
What advice would you give brides when it comes to picking lingerie attire? My advice for brides is to choose lingerie that celebrates your body. I hear way too often: “I need to lose weight before I put that on.” But, that’s not at all necessary. Lingerie is made to flatter. So, select something that hides parts of you that you’re not totally confident about, but showcases other parts of you beautifully. I can help with that if you’re unsure.
Why should brides choose you? I provide personal shopping assistance and really work with each bride to choose lingerie that they’ll love and feel sexy in. I also work closely with my designers for brides who are looking for custom made pieces.
