Our favorite print-savvy fashionista Solange Knowles is on the November 2012 cover of Elle South Africa. The singer/DJ wore a graphic printed Tart top with high-waisted Lion Cloth & Ashes wax print, ankara shorts and chunky rope bracelets by Pichulik. (We love that she’s embracing African fashion designers. What’s a better way to showcase that love than a cover of a African-based publication?) Much of her personal style was front and center on the cover from her signature natural Diana Ross-inspired coif to her bold red lip color.

We’re also obsessed with her new music video, Losing You, which was shot in Capetown, South Africa at the same time she did her Elle SA magazine cover. The video is a must-see funky kaleidoscopic of African culture, heart and style. Check it out:
