Alesia and Warn said “I do!” at their sophisticated black-and-white rooftop wedding in downtown Jackson, Mississippi!
Alesia and Warn first met at an event during their junior year in college. After building a steady foundation of love and friendship, Warn planned a sweet proposal to Alesia a few days before Christmas.
Warn told me to look in the closet for a Christmas gift I had been wanting. When I turned around, he was down on one knee, proposing.

How did you meet?
We met during our junior year in college at an event.
Tell us all about the proposal
After a date night a few days before Christmas, Warn told me to look in the closet for a Christmas gift I had been wanting. When I turned around, he was down on one knee, proposing.
Wedding Style
We wanted to go for a modern, minimalistic wedding style. We decided on a black-and-white theme. Warn’s suit jacket was mostly white with black details. He wore a black bow tie and black pants. My dress was fitted and had a deep plunging neckline in the front and the back. I researched dress styles and types and easily narrowed the selection down to fit my vision. Our bridesmaids had long, one-shoulder black dresses, with a slit on the side. The groomsmen wore black suits and bow ties. We even asked all of our guests to wear black attire, which looked absolutely amazing in photos. The black and white attire added to the classy, sophisticated look we were going for.
Culture
We both graduated from Mississippi State University and gave a special ode to our alma mater by giving personalized mini cowbells to our guests. We also incorporated QR codes for seating charts and our honeymoon fund which were the perfect touch to our millennial wedding.
What is your best memory from your wedding?
Right before the ceremony, all the bridesmaids and groomsmen joined us in dancing and getting prepared for the wedding. We made videos, shared laughs, and just had fun. It really helped to take everyone’s nervousness away.
