Southern Soul: Scenic Engagement Session in New Orleans, LA

Bianca and Wilbert’s beautiful engagement shoot took place just days before New Orleans shut down due to COVID-19.

They wanted a shoot that personified the soul of their home town. First, they went for a sophisticated look capturing the beauty of the Marigny Opera house in the Bywater area of New Orleans- an area that is known for art, architecture, and street graffiti. For their causal look, they continued their shoot in front of a traditional French Quarter style home and in front of Studio Be, an art studio that exhibits graffiti art.

Wilbert and Bianca were on a Saturday night date at one of their favorite restaurants, Meril in New Orleans. Bianca, who is a huge football fan, was busy watching a playoff game while eating dinner. Suddenly Wilbert surprised Bianca with a proposal during dessert. Everyone in the restaurant participated in the celebration. It was a night to remember.
