April showers brought plenty of May flowers for this Ugandan wedding in Essex, London. Peonies, petals and pearls were everywhere at the historic Hylands Park Hall as the gorgeous bride, Faiza and her groom, Khassim exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony among family and friends.

Tell us about how you met and all about the proposal!
We met at university and the proposal was beautifully personal.
Wedding Style
Wedding shopping had its stressful moments. It all took five months to put together but looking back, I enjoyed and dare I say miss the experience.
Culture
Both of us being Ugandan and as our wedding was not going to be in Uganda, we had to bring a bit of our culture to Essex! We had a Ugandan cultural dance group that performed dances from different tribes in Uganda. I think this was a highlight for many guests.
Memories
My favorite memory is dancing into a room filled with so many well wishers.
Help a bride-to-be out!
Enjoy yourselves. So much goes into planning that 24 hours so make sure every hour is memorable. Take as many pictures as your photographers can manage. Oh and smile, always!

Wow beautiful story!
Ephesians 5:28,29 – 28. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself, 29. for no man ever hated his own body,* but he feeds and cherishes it, just as the Christ does the congregation,
