“The whole night was memorable and I will never forget it. This was one of the best nights of my life and I want to thank everyone who helped me plan this wonderful night.” Alexandra Adams, now Mrs. Olgetree, felt like a queen on big day. When we asked her what was her favorite part of the wedding, she said everything was simply perfect and more than she could ever dream of.
St. Louis Rams NFL Outside Linebacker, Alec Ogletree, took Alexandra Adams’s hand in marriage back in March 14, of this year. Their wedding took place at St.Regis in Atlanta.
How They Met and The Proposal:
“We met in High School through a mutual friend at my house. When Alec proposed to me we were in Arizona just for a vacation and we went to the mall and then came back to our hotel he sang “All of me” by John Legend and then he got down on one knee and said will you marry me? And I was shocked and very excited and immediately said yes.”
The Reception Details:
The wedding took place at The St. Regis, one of the crown jewels of luxury hotels in Atlanta. The couple wanted to have wedding with a modern twist: to bring “the outside in”. Floral designers, Legendary Events, made greenery and florals a huge part in the decor at the reception as well as the scent of Gardenia, which was a highly admired by the couple. Their families were the main focal point at the reception. The head table accommodated 30 of their family members. Alexandra and Alec wanted their family to be a priority on the 50 foot long stage. The bridesmaids received Swarovski pendants as gifts and the delicious strawberry and cream wedding cake was also a favorite!
Culture was also an important aspect during the reception. Zydeco, a genre of music originating from the Louisiana creoles, was played during part of the reception. Alexandra wanted her native, lively, upbeat, form of music to be represented during the celebration. The music got the guests up and on their feet grooving!
And of course we cannot forget how stunning Mrs. Ogletree looked. Her gorgeous gown was perfectly crafted and designed by Bridals by Lori in Atlanta. Immediately, she knew it was the one once she saw it. “My wedding dress was fairy tale come true. It made me look like a Cinderella. Swarovski crystals covered the whole top and the skirt of the dress was made out of tulle.” As Mrs. Ogletree danced to Luther Vandross timeless song “If This World Were Mine”, she felt like she was on cloud nine. Her dress seamlessly flowed with the song and movement across the dance floor …”As I danced on the dance floor, I looked as if I was gliding.”
Bride-To-Be Wedding Advice
Mrs. Ogletree shared with us her great advice for Brides-To-Be: “The best advice I can give engaged couples is to take everyday day by day and just enjoy the moment. And to remember it’s all about the two of you and just making each other happy.”

Genesis 2:22, 23
22. And Jehovah God built the rib that he had taken from the man into a woman, and he brought her to the man. 23. Then the man said: “This is at last bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one will be called Woman, because from man she was taken.”
