She’s from the Bronx, he’s from Jersey. This hot couple has the cutest of engagement sessions shot by Chad Pennington of Sobitart Photography. Their initial encounter was just that….an encounter. No numbers exchanged, no relationship built. They crossed paths in a hotel lobby in Philly, chatted for a while…and went their separate ways. As fate would have it, they bumped into each other again a month later at a NYC restaurant, but this time, George made sure to get Stacie’s number…and the rest is history. There are some things in life that you just can’t control…these lovebirds were meant to connect in some way. Single ladies and men, if you constantly find yourself crossing paths with someone you’re attracted to at different times and different locations…it’s probably for a reason. Make the connection the next time around. As for this dynamic couple, you can see from these stunning photos that the connection between them is strong and genuine. Enjoy!
The proposal – “He proposed in Cape May. We walked through the 3 story, beachfront, 8-bedroom private house in Cape May to see if that’s where we wanted to have the wedding and reception. (We started scouting locations before he officially proposed). When we got to the last room in the house (the master bedroom overlooking the ocean) and we were discussing that the location would be great for the wedding, he got down on BOTH knees and proposed!” – Stacie
So how did they settle with such an AMAZING photographer?
“We wanted someone who was going to capture creative, edgy and interesting photos of our day. We didn’t want the traditional, cookie-cutter looking photos that everyone has seen for weddings. As soon as we saw Chad’s website, we knew he was the photographer we wanted! ” – Stacie
On the biggest challenge in the wedding planning process thus far…
Selecting a venue has proved to be the biggest challenge for the couple. “I have family in Bermuda so that’s where we originally wanted to get married but we eventually decided against burdening our familes and friends with the travel and accommodation expenses. ” Fortunately, the managing partner at the lawfirm Stacie works for offered his beachfront property in Cape May, NJ, which would have maintained the feel of a destination wedding, but “the costs and arrangements of having a tented reception proved to be more than we expected so we changed the venue to NYC and we’re very happy with where we’re now getting married.” -Stacie
Stacie and George are all set to tie the knot this May at the chic and upscale Midtown Loft & Terrace in Midtown Manhattan. We wish them the very best! “We’re looking forward to sharing a very happy and special day with our families and friends. It’s going to be a great celebration!” -Stacie
