It’s been said that it’s good luck to rain on your wedding day, but I don’t know any bride that truly wants it to rain on hers. Granted, the rain can make for some very romantic wedding day shots, as seen in the images below, but most brides don’t wish for rain as they’re planning their wedding. However, if you just take a moment and stopped to look at the rain, it can be quite beautiful, especially if captured just right.

If you’re anything like me, you can find inspiration in anything. As I was driving through the storm the other day, I looked up at the sky and it was just an amazing mixture of blues and grays. Blue and gray make a great color combination and can work together very well in the all year round, and especially during the winter months. Since it’s been raining all week, I’ve put together and inspiration board to represent the shades of blues and grays that I saw on my drive home and around Atlanta all week. I hope you enjoy!
