Today’s styled shoot is full of ethereal, bohemian wedding inspiration. Floral crowns and bouquets featuring a touch of blue, serve as organic statement pieces. There is a simplistic elegance in every shot taken by Kirill Bordon. The setting, a hidden beach in West Vancouver, Canada, is a stunningly tranquil backdrop, and the chemistry between the models, Nicole and Brendan, is so palpable because they are a real couple! They first met on the film set of Varick Lane – a short horror movie where Brendan was the cinematographer and Nicole was the lead actress! You will truly be inspired by these lovely images, so be sure to visit the gallery to see all gorgeous natural light photos from this amazing shoot.
The Shoot Planner and Photographer Kirill Bordon shares this about the shoot: “The shoot took place at a hidden beach in West Vancouver with large west coast stones and forest surroundings. This is definitely one of my favorite locations, as the light can be very magical here. It was November and it was quite cold but Nicole was a real trooper : )
We featured gorgeous and elegant gowns from Truvelle, exceptionally beautiful jewelry from local designer Zula Jewelry, hand made bow ties from ExhibitB and unique floral arrangements from Our Little Flower company. These local wedding vendors are bringing you the best bridal inspiration!
I shot the entire session on film and used my Contax 645 camera with a mix of Kodak Portra and Fuji Film.”
