We have seen gorgeous outdoor weddings at gardens and beaches, but today’s styled shoot took place at a rock quarry! With mountains serving as a backdrop, this unique, non-traditional location was absolutely breathtaking. Bold metallic Art Deco accents, soft lace and pearls, and organic floral arrangements all combined to create an ambiance of rustic sophistication.
Vanessa and Khai of Adamo Imagery shared this about the inspiration behind their gorgeous styled shoot:
“We recently had a photo shoot at a quarry in Riverside, CA. For years, we have been struck with inspiration with this beautiful location. Previously it was an active rock quarry with visible marks along the mountainside from the machinery that carved away at it. Having both grown up there, it was something that we were used to seeing, but our interest was always there. Finally, we came to the conclusion that we need to just go for it! We assembled an awesome team to bring you this romantic wedding inspiration. Our inspiration was drawn from the Art Deco wave with it’s rich colors and intricate patterns and married it with the granite and desert landscape. Jenny from Chloe+Mint brought together a table emblematic of the time and Eleana from Ele Makes Cakes created an elegant two-tiered cake that is simple and yet sophisticated. We also worked with Kristen from Gilded Shadows and her stunning and intricate bridal headpieces, to complete the bride’s classic look with the stylings of Makeup Artist Janay from Love & Lashes and Hairstylist Myesha from Hair by Myesha.”
