With both of them needing a break from the party, they just so happened to sit down next to each other in a moment that seemed guided by fate. Striking up a conversation they immediately hit it off and haven’t looked back ever since.

How did you meet? On October 11th, 2014 Kevin and Alexis met at The Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona Beach, FL. At the Phinally Famous event held annually for the Bethune Cookman University’s chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. They both wanted to take a break from the party and happened to sit right next to each other! Kevin started the conversation by asking “Didn’t we take Anatomy class together?” The rest, as they say, is history!

Tell us your proposal story. After spending a day in Palma De Majorca, Spain. On Alexis’ Birthday, Kevin got down on one knee at dinner on the Norwegian Epic Cruise ship and asked Alexis if she would spend the rest of her life with him! Of course, She said yes!

What is your engagement session theme? Chic Romance!

What did you do on your first date? Went to a Hibachi Restaurant.

What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? Having dance parties in our home, just the two of us.

How has wedding planning been so far? A mix of emotions!
