Gregg and Klaire met as coworkers at the Olive Garden. At first, Klaire didn’t know what to make of Gregg’s flirtations, but after finding out they were born on the same day of the same year, they immediately became besties and began connecting over their likes and hobbies.

For five years their love and relationship grew and on their 25th birthday, Gregg proposed surrounded by close friends and family at a lake house in Deep Creek, Maryland.

For their e-session, Klaire and Gregg wanted it to be clean, polished, and romantic. The Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC was the perfect location for their theme, making the couple stand out against the impressive marble and iconic historical landmarks.

How did you meet?

I had just started as a new hostess at Olive garden where Gregg had been a busser for a few months. Our flirting led to me asking him for his number and it was over lol. Let Gregg tell it and he would say he asked for my number first, but it’s not true!

Tell us all about the proposal.

We had all of our friends gathered for a ski trip at Deep Creek Lakehouse for our 25th birthday weekend, as we gathered everyone together to welcome them with a group toast Gregg Held up the speech a little longer got on one knee, and proposed.

When did you know they were “the one”?

Once Gregg told me his birthdate 01/26/1994, which is my birthday, I knew he was the one. Gregg knew once we moved into our first apartment together.

Describe your engagement session?

Our engagement session was clean and romantic. I wanted a lot of marble to make our colors pop! We also had an anime theme with our favorite show because it’s one of the many things that we bonded over.

What did you do on your first date?

We had dinner at the cheesecake factory and took some pictures at the Inner Harbor with some friends.

What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?

We love staying in with pizza, cuddled up watching Anime, or playing video games. When we first started dating Gregg was shocked at how much I knew about Anime and how amazing I am at Tekken.

How has wedding planning been so far?

At first, it was a piece of cake but then COVID hit and made us a little uneasy if our big day was going to happen exactly how we planned. Our planner has eased our minds a bit and we will adjust accordingly.
