Brittney and Greg’s sweet engagement session was full of smiles and romantic moments!
The couple first met at work and formed a friendship that eventually led them to go on their first date and ultimately fall in love. Greg surprised Brittney by purposing to her at his own surprise 30th birthday party.
I knew he was the one because my heart felt different when we were together.

How did you meet?
We met at work in September 2014 during my first week of employment. My trainer had me shadow him, but we didn’t get to know each other until a few months later outside of work during a group outing. It was the second group outing after a comedy show when we hung out and got to know each other a little better. As time went on we became friends. Our first date was a movie and dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp at universal city walk in Orlando Fl. We made it official in April 2015.
Tell us about your proposal story.
He proposed to me at his surprise 30th birthday party that I had been planning for months. I have a close cousin that he reached out to for assistance in finding me a ring, so she was the middle man. She knew about both of our surprises and made sure it happened on the same night without us knowing about it. For the party, I made up a story that it was my other cousin’s engagement party. Once we arrived he was shocked to see his family members lol. As the night went on, I was told to go outside with a family member for a quick talk and once we got back, he was standing in heart-shaped rose petals and Why I love you by major playing in the background. I automatically started crying and said YES!!!
When did you know they were the one?
I knew he was the one because my heart felt different when we were together. I would think of him all day and would miss our conversations when we were apart.
Describe your engagement session.
For our engagement shoot, I knew I wanted to incorporate a convertible drop-top. Our original plan was to do our shoot in Cali in palm desert riding into the sunset, but due to covid19 and flying restrictions, we decided to just do it in our home state. The day of the shoot was amazing. Of course, we were both nervous, but our photographer Daylin calmed our nerves and told us to just act natural and as if we were doing it for the gram! She would have him whisper in my ear to capture my sweet smiles.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple?
We have so many! Some of our favorite things to do are travel, watching tv series together on Netflix, trying out new restaurants, cooking together, and assembling our kids’ furniture and toys.
How has wedding planning been so far?
Wedding planning has been somewhat stressful and overwhelming and that’s only because I’m very picky but I’m loving every minute of it. Communication has been so important as we plan our wedding, we often have to meet halfway on certain topics when we can’t agree, but other than that it’s going great!
Tell us what you are looking forward to most of your wedding day.
We are most looking forward to showing our family and friends our love for one another and just having the best time we can!
