This styled shoot, done at The Art Factory, is for the bride who desires to transform anything and make it into something! The beauty within this shoot shows you can breath life into anything, even old warehouses, doors, and window panes. Coterie member, Emma of Prestige Affairs, describes below the concept and inspiration behind this uniquely detailed shoot!
This shoot was inspired by the Bride that has a love of vintage pieces, a sweet tooth, and a affinity for raw, natural spaces. The Art Factory mixed a love of the fresh air and the romantic feel of an outdoor wedding with a bit of the glamour of an indoor wedding venue.”
The focal point of the outdoor wedding was the custom made collage of window panes (provided by Bits and Pieces Rentals). For the guest and head table décor, I contrasted the darkness of the space with bright, vibrant colors. Raspberry and coral were the perfect colors to bring the beauty of the outdoors inside. The color palette tied everything together—from the bride’s shoes, to the invitation suite, to the table décor. Pops of raspberry added spice to an otherwise understated palette.”
On the tables, floral centerpieces in bright hues of magenta, coral, pinks, and greens where the focal point. Surrounding the centerpieces were floating candles to create a soft light that added to the vintage feel of the shoot. The gold-rimmed, vintage china received a modern update with a bright napkin and blinged-out napkin ring.”
“The sugar addict Bride cannot resist decadent desserts so incorporating some into the styled shoot was a given. The dessert table featured a spread of sweets including cake pops, cookie towers, and a three-tiered wedding cake. Each dessert represented the height of romantic elegance. Small details in the desserts, the gold-stripped cake pops adorned with a beautiful blooms and the floral adornments, brought together the nostalgia and the raw simplicity that inspired the shoot.”
