Using the nontraditional backdrop of a dark and moody speakeasy, this candlelit-styled shoot was the culmination of designer Chris McKinley and photographer Breanna White’s vision for what a modern elopement shoot should be.
The creative team had a unique vision of what they wanted to do at Edison House and they brought together the perfect group to help them accomplish this dream elopement shoot inside the modern social club.
The theme of the elopement shoot revolves around the concept of a modern, romantic, and lavish runaway love. The couple intentionally chose to forgo traditional wedding norms, opting for an intimate setting that reflected their unique love story. Instead of a large gathering, they celebrated their union with only the essential presence of each other.
– Chris McKinley
The concept of a traditional elopement shoot was completely remixed into a candlelit fantasy that oozed sophisticated seduction. Models Padro and Mouneesha had electric chemistry which perfectly brought the theme of ‘Run Away Love” to life.
Thoughtfully placed statement floral installations by Floral Rhapsody transformed the intimate space into a cozy yet striking setting for the team to work its magic in during the shoot. The bespoke creations of Ann Elizabeth Print Studio helped bring the inspiration of a modern elopement to life with timeless stationery designs.
