Macy and Jeremiah’s wedding proves that intimate nuptials can still be grand in style.
Their planner Gina Marie Weddings & Events shares, “Macy and Jeremiah were looking for an intimate celebration in Miami Beach at one of the coolest hotels, in our opinion, the Confidante! Macy really wanted to provide her guests with the ‘Miami’ experience and loved the look of the vibrant tropical florals! We incorporated peaches, pinks, and bright green to give her the look she was envisioning. Since she was having an intimate wedding we were able to create a large royal table for her guests lined with budvases of beautiful tropical foliage, rattan chargers and the mother of the bride got personalized wood cutout place cards! All of their guests were traveling for the wedding. So, as the realization of COVID-19 was coming into play, guests began to cancel, which was very disappointing to the couple. Nevertheless, we preserved, followed CDC regulations at that time, and created an amazing wedding for the couple! They danced the night away and had the ultimate Miami wedding!”

How did you meet?
We met at a business lunch meeting through a mutual friend.
Tell us about the proposal.
He set up dinner reservations at Macy’s favorite restaurant at Nobu on a family trip to Las Vegas. Jeremiah’s uncle and aunt came from CA and Macy’s cousin and mother were all in attendance. He worked with the staff to hide the engagement ring inside of a dessert box. As the waiter was explaining the dessert tray we ordered, he saved the box for last. As he was revlieing the engagement ring, Jeremiah got down on one knee.
Describe your wedding style.
Macy’s wedding dress was from Grace Loves Lace. Jeremiah’s suit was from Men’s Warehouse. The shopping experience was so fun as I had a couple of my bridesmaids along with my mom there to watch as I narrowed down the options.
What is your best memory from your wedding?
Having all of our family and friends sharing the special moment. The wedding cake was delicious. The first look was so special as we were able to see each other in private.
What is the best wedding advice you can give to engaged couples?
Leave it up to your wedding planner. Gina did such a great job. In the moment, you will only focus on your husband/wife and your family and friends in attendance. Have fun!
