Tyneisha and Jeremy were first introduced byway of mutual friends who thought they would make a great match – they were absolutely correct! Sparks were flying on that first date at a popular Philadelphia cafe, where they talked for hours – lost in conversation and in each other’s eyes… Great lovers of travel they enjoy spending their time exploring new locations, as well as a healthy rivalry between their favorite football teams; Tyneisha for the Dallas Cowboys, and Jeremy for the Philadelphia Eagles. Tyneisha and Jeremy look forward to meeting each other at the aisle’s end as husband and wife this October.

Tell us how you met and all about the proposal. We were set up by mutual friends in 2013. Specifically, Jeremy’s coworker was dating one of my friends and they thought we would make a good match.
For the proposal, we went to NYC to celebrate my birthday over Memorial Day weekend in 2017. We stayed at a hotel in Times Square and started off the day at a Yankees game. After, went to a Jamaican spot for dinner (The Feeding Tree) followed by a trip to a specialized cookie and milkshakes shop (Schmackary’s). We then walked to Times Square (surprisingly, Jeremy had never been) and took pictures on the Red Steps. I was getting tired so we started to head back to the hotel and I noticed Bryant Park was across the street, so we headed over there for a bit. The park was really pretty at night with lights and fountains. We took some photos and then headed back to the hotel. When we got to our room I turned and he was down on one knee saying there’s been something I’ve been meaning to ask you…and there, after saying my full name, he asked to be his wife.
Describe your engagement session. I decided early on that I wanted two looks for our session, one formal and the other casual. First, we started with a formal look near city hall. I decided on our formal look attire and Jeremy made the decision on our casual look attire. After our formal look photos we made our way to the Philadelphia Art Museum to take some casual shots in our favorite football jerseys. Jeremy is a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan and I am a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Football season is always interesting for us but the love is always there, win or lose!
What did you do on your first date? For our first date we met at the Trolley Car Cafe in Philadelphia. We stayed in that cafe talking for almost four hours and I knew immediately that Jeremy was truly a nice guy.
What’s your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love to travel together, watch football and go to comic conventions. We are currently on our way to visiting all the major league baseball stadiums.
How has wedding planning been so far? Wedding planning has had its ups and downs. Definitely more work than I anticipated, but I know it’ll all be worth it on our special day.
Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day. I am looking forward to walking down the aisle focused on my forever love. I also can’t wait to see some of our guests. We have guests coming from all over; Ireland, California, Florida, Boston, etc.
