What does iconic designer Vera Wang not do? Vogue’s youngest ever fashion editor and stylist turned the most celebrated bridalwear designer in the world, author, and lifestyle, ready-to-wear & jewelry designer, has added menswear to her long list of collections.
In partnership with Men’s Wearhouse, one of the largest retailers of men’s fashions in North America, Vera is launching the Black by Vera Wang collection of rental tuxedos for the discerning man. The collection will feature both black and gray tuxedos with a more modern, sophisticated look and uber lightweight fabric for a more luxurious look, fit and feel. “The black tuxedo will feature a two-button notch, grosgrain lapel with side vents. Flat-front pant will feature a grosgrain stripe detail. The gray style will include a two-button, satin edge notch lapel with side vents and a classic, flat-front pant. Both styles offered in standard fit, slim fit and “big & tall” sizing,” according to a press release for the new collection.
The collection will be available in all Men’s Wearhouse retail stores in the United States and Moores Clothing for Men retail stores in Canada in late Spring this year, 2012.
This is a wonderful opportunity for men who would rather rent than buy a tuxedo for a wedding or other special occasion.
