Set in Houston, TX, The Gallery’s expansive layout allowed for this styled shoot to create a Victorian infused portrait session, with a grand number of props on standby and the right look to enhance the location both indoors and out.
No matter the era you choose as your theme for your big day, it’s important for the feel of the day to not just be focused on the dress. The dress is the staple of the night, a character all on its own. But the entire setting must have character as well for the entire look to come together. This shoot played with the Victorian time period using the best of vintage props in all its elegance. Whether you’re renting props or are set to go on a search at vintage shops far and wide, know that there’s plenty from every time period to play with and incorporate into your big day.
From head to toe is impeccable. The hair. The makeup. The accessories. My oh my. A bodyguard was not on set for this shoot but it sure looks like that would be necessary for a large wedding ceremony, yeah? This look shouts classic beauty, one look you can never go wrong in.
Is your wedding in a location that will allow you to temporarily input custom made vanity mirrors? If so, a vanity corner may be just the project for your planner to put beside a designated area for your guests to take photos. Or perhaps request such a corner in the bride’s dressing room before the grand walk down the aisle.
To veil or not to veil? That is the question. If you’re on the hunt for an out of this world veil, long and elaborate, this is for you, bride-to-be. We hope you’ve been inspired by this model, Kienia Green a recent bride who was greatly inspired by this styled shoot before her steampunk inspired wedding. the 19th century has plenty to offer. What will you take from this glorious era?

STUNNING. I was privilege to attend the Green/Murindagomo Wedding. The entire evening was breath taking. The creativity of the decor to the wedding party fashions left all of the guest chatting all night. May God Bless and Favor their union
