Planned and designed by Roxanne Bellamy of Persnickety Events, this modern yet minimal editorial shoot has edge written all over it. The clean white surfaces of the venue and the ghost chairs created a simple palette, while bold and vibrant flowers added a modern and fun element. It’s simple, with just the right amount of pizzazz!
From the photographer, Love Daley Photography:
In creating this styled shoot, Roxanne Bellamy of Persnickety Events and I knew that we wanted to create something modern and clean with a bit of an edge. Nestled in the Miami’s mid-century Historical District, Glass Haus was a perfect canvas boasting a thirty-foot high, canted glass lounge space, an open floor plan, and an abundance of natural light. For design, inspiration was drawn from Scandinavian as well as Palm Springs interiors with their clean lines, seemingly minimalist décor and pops of color against white surfaces.
White tables with clean lines and white chairs with a bit of character served as the base for the tablescape playing on the architecture of Glass Haus. The table was adorned with modern white dinnerware and gold flatware for added character. The large, free form centerpiece created by Ever After Floral Design was vibrant and rich in color harmonizing the juxtaposition of the white and glass elements. A sleek and modern four-tier cake was designed by Renee’s Gourmet Cakes which paired perfectly with the color story and a hand painted abstract piece by Persnickety’s graphic designer/artist was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony.
For the bride, Krystal of Facetyme mimicked the overall design keeping the make-up simple and adding a pop of color on the lips while Krystal of Epic Hair Salon chose to go bold with the style for hair. Amazing pieces by Z’s Jewelz pulled the bride’s look together seamlessly ensuring she was edgy, yet sophisticated.
