Winner! Munaluchi Hot Couple 2012

Happy Monday! For the past couple of weeks we have been running a Hot Couple Contest on our facebook fanpage where  the title of Munaluchi Hot Couple 2012 plus a 4 day, 3 night stay at the award winning Nisbet Plantation Beach Club in Nevis was up for grabs.  In addition, the photographer for the winning couples’ entry photo will win an exclusive feature in an upcoming issue of Munaluchi.

We must start off by saying that all of the couples are truly “hot couples” with inspirational love stories, and we truly appreciate your participation in the contest.   With this being our first facebook contest, we had no idea what the participation would be like and were so pleased at the engagement and response.  Thanks so much to all the fans, friends, and families that placed over 5,000 votes in the past week.  The competition was fierce, with some contestants neck to neck throughout the voting period.

Description:  I was hanging out with a girlfriend when I saw him. Jody was with a friend who was yelling at me from the passenger side of the car. I sweetly replied that I would prefer it if the driver could pull over and talk to me. We went on our first date the next night and in three months, we eloped. Here we are thirteen years, 3 babies and a few continents later (we travel and work overseas a lot– I’m a wedding planner and Jody is an international security specialist). Recently, Jody flew me to NYC as a surprise and proposed again overlooking the New York skyline. We never had our wedding years ago, so we’re having a huge one this fall.

Loving You is Easy Because…

She says: He’s got the best personality– he’s so well rounded, funny, giving, thoughtful and romantic. When I met him, it was like my soul looked at him and said “Oh, there you are!” and I still feel that way to this day. I couldn’t have chosen a better friend, husband or father for our children. He definitely broke the mold. The fact that he’s undeniably delicious is just icing on the cake. He says: I love her heart and spirit. She’s loving and kind– she always lights people up with her smile. Everyone likes her and the energy she brings; as well as the passion she puts into everyone she loves and things she does. I just love being close to her and in her presence, that alone makes me a better man.
