Last week we launched a natural beauty contest in which entrants could enter via our facebook fanpage by uploading a picture and telling us what natural beauty means to them. After narrowing down to the top 12 entries, voting was open to the public. The top 12 finalists were able to gain points via our voting application on facebook, or 1/2 of a vote when someone “liked” their photo in the Natural Beauty Gallery. Today we’re announcing the winner!
Before we announce the winner, we’d like to thank everyone who entered, and all of the top 12 finalists. You are all true beauties in our eyes. But as with any competition, there can only be one grand prize winner. So who wins?
With a total score of 371, the winner of the Munaluchi Natural Beauty Contest is Esosa Edosomwan! As the winner, Esosa be our beauty model next week in a beauty and fashion photoshoot being held in NYC. In addition, she will win up to $100 worth of Carol’s Daughter products.
“I believe natural beauty happens when someones physical appearance is enhanced and magnified by the beauty of their spirit. This kind of beauty is attainable by anyone and doesn’t require a lot of makeup or primping to shine through; it’s effortless. For me natural beauty is also a choice to adhere to my own personal standard of beauty rather than imposing other people’s standards on myself, and choosing to nurture my body, skin, and hair with foods and products that are as natural as possible.”
