Designer Crush: Berta Bridal Dresses
We’re introducing a new feature here on MBM – Designer Crush. This is where we highlight designers that do fabulous work but may not be in your radar. The emphasis will be mainly on designers not often celebrated here in the states in an effort to bring awareness to the beauty that exists elsewhere, and provide more inspiration for your wedding day style.
This week, we’re crushing on Berta Bridal.
During Bridal Market, aside from viewing the latest collections on the runways, I thoroughly enjoy visiting the Pier. There’s so much talent there…so many designers both well seasoned and new that are ridiculously talented. And the discovery of new talent alone, gives me an adrenaline rush.
Last market in April, I had the pleasure of stumbling upon the sexy and luxurious Berta Bridal gowns. They’re based in Israel but are making a strong entry into the states. I sat with the lovely team during bridal market and had a chance to view the latest collection first-hand. It’s as beautiful in person as you’ll see in this post…
The designer, Berta, studied fashion design in Shenkar College and has been designing for over 16 years. Using fabrics imported from Paris and Milan, each dress is handcrafted artistically and individually, making each gown a work of art essentially. Here are some images of our favorite dresses from Berta’s instagram and website. Indulge!
If you’re based in California, Berta Bridal will be having a trunk show at Mon Amie Bridal Salon in Costa Mesa, on the 12th-14th of July. They’ll be presenting designs that haven’t been seen anywhere in the US, so you definitely don’t want to miss this one.
