Extravagant Blush and Cream Nigerian Wedding in Atlanta: Mariyam + Lanre

Mariyam (Ronke) and Lanre thank Mark Zurkerburg for bringing them together. It was 2007, when Lanre received a friend request from Ronke on Facebook.  She was looking for another friend named Lanre, when she came across Lanre Popoola. She saw he was in her Atlanta network, so she decided to add him as a friend. Lanre sent her a message and that was the beginning of their beautiful relationship!

Six years later, the couple was planning a grand, chic and opulent wedding with a modern flair. Ronke wore a sweeping Vera Wang ballgown for the ceremony and changed into a form fitting Justin Alexander mermaid dress for the reception. She was a vision of perfection flanked by her gorgeous bridesmaids who wore rose colored gowns. Tall and low flower arrangements of hydrangea, garden roses, spray roses, freesia, gardenias and orchids in shades of pink and ivory covered every table in their glamorous reception space. The real show stopper was their 5-tier cake suspended by elegant ropes orchids from the ceiling of the hotel!
