Roxanne Bellamy: With its balmy summer days year-round, Miami is a popular option for winter and spring brides who are seeking to trade in their snow boots for sandals. Most people associate the Magic City with world- renowned restaurants, Art Basel, South Beach and vibrant nightlife; but, for visiting brides and grooms-to-be, we offer so much more. Yes, we have incredible beaches filled with beautiful people and great weather (humble brag) but for those couples who aren’t exactly the sand-between-the-toes type, Miami’s diverse neighborhoods offer not only spectacular backdrops for wedding photography, a variety of ethnic catering options, and tropical flair--many also have amazing wedding venues that are off the beaten path.

Whether you’re a looking for a venue that offers over-the-top, Art Deco opulence or a modern minimalist setting, we’ve got you covered. First on our list is The Bath Club, a chic, Spanish-inspired oasis in the heart of Miami Beach. Ideal for the couple seeking a nostalgic, romantic affair, the Bath Club is a must-see venue. Since its grand opening in 1926, this posh venue has provided a scenic backdrop for the presidents, socialites, and the well-heeled.

Why consider The Bath Club? Because it is…

1. Romantic:
Upon entering The Bath Club, guests are ushered through historic wooden doors into a private foyer exquisitely adorned with ornate chandeliers and Spanish tiles.

2. Lush:
Brick pavers, ample foliage and tropical palm trees grace the Courtyard; an ideal location for private outdoor ceremonies or sunset welcome receptions.

3. Dramatic:
The primary event space is flooded with natural light and features elaborate chandeliers, wood floors and high, dramatic ceilings.

4. Versatile:
Not only are there countless possibilities within The Bath Club, but it also backs on to a private beach which provides additional event space

Inspire Me:
A Modern Romance inspired wedding would work seamlessly at The Bath Club. Think lace and scalloped embroidery in a sleek, modern gown paired with an understated nude pair of heels and an equally sophisticated clutch. Top it all off with diamond chandelier earrings and a perfectly designed flora ring from Miami jeweler, Dadlani Jewels.

1. Dress: Berta Bridal ; 2. Harry Winston Secret Cluster Diamond Earrings; 3. Nina Ricci Arc Clutch4. Azzedine Alaïa Suede Sandal;5. Dadlani Jewels Flora Ring

Stay tuned for our next blog in this series as I’ll showcase another stunning Miami venue for the modern, artsy couple who want to blur the lines between edge and sophistication!

Nothing like a little creativity to learn something about yourself and break through the mundane. Like Andy Dufresne says in ‘The Shawshank Redemption’, “Get busy living, or get busy dy#g1….&i822n;. Wonderfully creative art Heidi. Glad you found such a cool outlet that you are so damn good at.

My husband and I work with destination wedding brides and grooms as an award-winning officiant team. It is wonderful to learn of new places like The Bath Club for us to refer clients. Finding a hidden gem can be hard to find, if you don’t know where to look. Just a couple weeks ago I referred a couple to a place in Palm Beach, I wish I had known about this option with its historical charm.
