Tracy Reese’s Creative Flair at Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week Show
Tracy’s creative flair was quite evident for her Spring 2013 runway presentation. From the bright color scheme to chunky sunglasses to prints, it’s no wonder that First Lady Michelle Obama is a fan favorite of Tracy’s work. I truly appreciated three things about Tracy Reese’s fashion show – 1. Sudanese model Ajak Deng was the show’s opener which gives unprecedented support to black models. 2. Culturally diverse models were seen on her runway wearing her designs and 3. Ajak wasn’t the only black female model rocking natural hair on her runway! Tracy Reese provided fashionistas with a solid runway presentation.
